“Maria and Martin were wonderful hosts! Martin picked us up from the airport and when he found out we were moving to Malta for the year he helped us get an appointment with one of the leasing agencies. He was extremely quick to help with anything and everything and he was very kind. Maria was lovely and very personable. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house and would highly recommend it. It’s on a quiet street but close to all the fun.”

“Maria runs a fabulous place in Sliema, which appears to be an original style Maltese townhouse. It is spacious, quiet and still right next to several hot spots. Rocky beach places, The Point shopping mall, the ferry Sliema-Valletta is all just 10mins walking distance at the most. We can highly recommend the Tigne Townhouse and would be happy to come back some time soon.”

“Feeling fortunate to have a chance to stay at Maria’s stunning and specious house. It’s lovely architecture has charmed me as soon as I walked in. Master bedroom with en suite shower was a great size with a comfortable king size bed in it. And apart from the wardrobe a large walk in storage space. Absolutely loved the hosts warm welcoming at the airport and the whole trip to Sliema took no longer than 20 min ( I arrived at 11pm) The house is situated very central and just few mins walk from restaurants, shops, super market and the beach. That was a such a lovely place to spend my holiday at. And I will definitely come back again! Thank you Maria and Martin for your hospitality and recommendation regarding best places to visit in Malta!”

“My boyfriend and me stayed in this beautiful place for a whole week and we really enjoyed our stay in Sliema. Martin and Maria are great hosts, which helped us and gave us a few tips where to go on our holiday. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who want to stay in Malta. The location is very near to a huge shopping centre, pharmacy, good restaurants, and much more. Our room (Suite 1) it’s self was very big and clean, and we enjoyed staying here. EXTRA INFO: Please keep in mind that Malta is a very lively island. They celebrate a lot, and in our first morning we got woken up by some kind of fireworks. What we didn’t know at the time and after looking around in the internet, we found out that these fireworks were part of their festivities during the whole month of august. So they star fireworks a few times a day. It’s part of their culture and we thought it was really nice to see how other people celebrate.”

“It’s a big house. Quiet and clean, and beautiful. You can find all you need nearby, bus station, boat, restaurant, bar, shopping center. The seaside is two minutes from the house. It’s perfect. You can also ask Martin to pick you up at airport. And if you want to keep your bags in the logement the day of checkout. You can. There is also a guide voyage in the room, with a lots of information useful. I don’t want to leave.”

“We stayed at Maria’s for 5 days, the house is so stunning, traditional maltese townhouse, lots of space, great fully equipped kitchen. We shared our bathroom with one other guest which was never an issue. We had the balcony room which was stunning. Location is great, central to Sliema, very quiet though still. Theres also a great little bar nearby called Joes (visit it!)…we didn’t meet Maria but Martin was lovely, quick at responding and very helpful and friendly. We didn’t want to leave it was so good. Will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Malta <3 Thank you :)”

“Our stay in Tigne House was undoubtedly perfect thanks to the great location and cleanliness of this place. I strictly recommend this room and especially Martin who is very helpful and warm soul person. We hadn’t have the opportunity to meet Maria though. The house is surely dedicated to people who love travelling and appreciate comfort and luxury. There are also pubs, restaurants and the shopping mall nearby so you cannot be bored! To my surprise, the whole house looks better than in the pictures. If I had an opportunity, I would come back there once again!”

“Thank you Maria and Martin for hosting our stay in Malta. The location was perfect, Central and next to some great shopping strips. It was very easy for us to get anywhere by ferry or bus. Martin gave us a lift to and from the airport which greatly helped us, and was very helpful and informative during our stay. The room and bathroom were as per described and the house was immaculate.”
